Classroom descriptions
CardioCore - From BASIC to (ABS)-VANCED, the focus for this class is abdominal. Strengthen, define and maintain all major muscles of the trunk. Sequenced to be the most effective workout your midsection has ever known!
- Core Conditioning - The "core" actually consists of many different muscles that stabilize the spine and pelvis and run the entire length of the torso. These muscles stabilize the spine, pelvis and shoulder and provide a solid foundation for movement in the extremities. Core conditioning exercise programs need to target all these muscle groups to be effective. The muscles of the core make it possible to stand upright and move on two feet. These muscles help control movements, transfer energy, shift body weight and move in any direction. A strong core distributes the stresses of weight-bearing and protects the back.
- KettleBells - There is no better way to burn fat than with a few high rep sets of kettlebell swings, snatches, and clean and jerks. These killer ballistic exercises work your body as one unit and require a great deal of hard work. The harder you work the more calories you burn.
- Kid's Class - We teach youngsters (ages 2-12) various fitness activities, such as jump rope, indoor soccor, tumbling, dodge ball, balance walk, hop-scotch and hula hoop.
*Always consult your physician before implementing a new exercise program.
